What is carcinoid syndrome? Carcinoid syndrome is a syndrome where people can get diarrhoea and flushing. Where people can get flushing of the face and the neck and the other body. And it’s usually due to hormones secreted by certain neuroendocrine tumours, most commonly originating from the small intestine and these hormones can include serotonin.
